Fragmented Follies was a commission public art project takes place in Battersea Park, London. The project is fragmented with Pump House Gallery for 8 months. The project commissioned Sam Jacob to create a public (utilitarian) work of art, meaning Follies, in the shape of the distinctive Battersea Park structure, which refers to the often overlooked aspects of urban life that surround us all the time, and aims to evoke the thinking of "utility" and "value". At the same time, Fragmented Follies has teamed up with neighboring primary and secondary schools for a series of public education activities for the local community.
